Space & Satellite Sector - When is the right time to use video to showcase your innovation?
Today we had a presentation from Andy Hall of Sound Motiv
who showed us a video he created for Oxford Space Systems
One of the challenges,he highlighted, is taking an initial brief of e.g. 'we need an animation' and then translating that brief to ensure it delivers the right result to attract more investment and clients. For example the brief was met through a blend of video and animation - as pure animation may have made the project look 'less real' and further away from commercialisation.
When is the right time to start creating a video or animation to showcase your innovation? What challenges have you encountered using this route to market?
Good question Su. It may be that some readers haven't commissioned video/animation, took a 'DIY' approach - or neither. It would still be interesting to hear their views on what the challenges encountered (real or perceived) are or were.
